Inspired by the striking and arid landscape of Wastdale and Wast Water in the Lake District. I was intrigued to know what lay beneath the water that looked so foreboding and imagined a contrast of brightly coloured stones and fish. Wastwater is the deepest lake in England at a depth of approx 74 metres.
