Framed in a simple white, wooden tray frame
During the first lockdown back in March 2020 I would get up very early and walk down to our local beach. The weather was amazing as we were having a mini heatwave and there were no aeroplane contrails in the sky. It was so silent apart from the lapping waves and the occasional seagull. It felt very special to experience such quietness. This painting reminds me of that strange but special moment in time.
